1. This was a great informative video on how to improve your personal learning network, It informs students of the different ways that they can learn outside of lectures and a textbook. It tells that not only can students learn from outside sources, but they can also teach the same thing to others. It provides a great way on how to share knowledge with others.

The student in the video has the opportunity to learn as much information about a subject as well as other students without the use of a textbook. With the help of personal learning network he actually communicated with the author of his classmates' textbook. Most students do not take advantage of networking with others. They do not realize how easy that they can communicate with authors.

I am not prepared to teach a connective student. After I graduate I have to make sure that I am very educated in my field of study. With all of the outside resources available, I have to make sure that I am prepared to answer the questions or comment on any remarks from the students that they learn from sources on the internet. I think that there should be a media class in every school so that teachers can focus on what they are to teach instead of helping the students create a personal learning network.

2. Personal learning environment goes hand in hand to personal learning network. The environment is where one may organize all of their networks onto one home page.

3. Michael Wesch is an amazing educator. It is true that today's generation is more focused on themselves. Some are steadily looking to find themselves and many times that takes place in the classroom. They try to relate themselves to what is going on the classroom. Many call it selfish.
As a future educator, I will try to relate as much of my lessons as possible to the students daily life so that they will be interested in the lesson.
The machine is definitely changing us. I have not yet come to know why some feel as if they have to entertain the world with home footages on you tube. We do not know the 1.4 billion people on the planet who may view the video.

The benefits of podcasts in the classroom video was very informative. It tells that humans born after 1980 is more involved with technology. Technology is a new way of producing one's creativity. Podcasts is a great way that teachers enhance students learning without the students actually being in the classroom.
Judy Scharf's podcast collection site is also great. It consists of many links which inform one on how to use podcasts. After one visit this site and go through the links they will know what a podcast is, how to create one, and the importance of using a podcast.
The education podcast network is a useful site for all educators. It is a site that educators come together to share their insights on the particular subjects that they teach with the use of podcasts. It provides educators podcast programming that will help another educator increase their knowledge on a subject so that they can be better teachers to their students.
